Meet the Family Behind Blueberry Lakes
The Team, a small, passionate crew who share the same values. Together, they hand-prune, hand-harvest, and hand-pack every berry. From sorting to tasting, each team member ensures the quality and integrity of what leaves our farm.
Our Values
Working With Nature
We believe farming isn’t about controlling the land. Our blueberries grow alongside native trees, grasses, and wildlife, letting ecosystems thrive while our crops flourish.
Biodiversity
Every bird, insect, and plant has a role here. We actively rewild areas of the farm, encourage native species, and carefully manage our rows so no one plant or animal dominates the landscape.
Sustainability
We’re proud to be Western Australia’s only blueberry grower currently packaging in sustainable cardboard. Our packaging, energy use, and farm practices are continually evolving to reduce waste, protect the environment, and set a positive example for local agriculture.
Certifications & Credentials
We take pride in growing our blueberries to the highest standards, with Organic Certification and Freshcare accreditation guiding everything we do. These certifications reflect our ongoing commitment to sustainable, ethical, and safe farming practices.
Our Vision
We’re constantly looking ahead, balancing growth with care. Over the next 2–3 years, we’re excited to bring our farm even closer to the community:
-
Pick-Your-Own Orchard – allowing visitors to experience Blueberry Lakes firsthand, while keeping our main crops protected
Farm Café – sharing seasonal produce and simple, wholesome meals in a space inspired by the farm itself
Dried Blueberry Line – extending our harvest into products that make it easier for customers to enjoy our berries year-round
Our vision isn’t just about producing fruit; it’s about creating a sustainable, educational, and joyful space where people, plants, and wildlife can thrive together.
Blueberry Lakes is a family-run farm focused on growing quality blueberries the right way. We’re hands-on in the day-to-day work, managing the plants, monitoring soil health and improving systems as we go.
We’re building a long-term business that protects the land, produces reliable fruit and supports the people around us. What we grow and how we grow it matters, to us and to the community we supply.
